The Realities For Children Triumph Awards recognize and honor exceptional youth in our community who not only survived the adversities of childhood abuse, but have also triumphed over them personally, socially and academically.

With your help we will build a $500,000 Triumph Awards Scholarship Endowment. When you donate to this endowment your gift will continue to give and your investment will serve forever. The returns on this endowed principal are distributed to Triumph Award winners in the form of collegiate scholarships. This endowment will provide $50,000 in collegiate grants every two years. Your donation to this fund is one that truly creates a Timeless Legacy of Compassion, Service and Triumph.

The acknowledgement, educational opportunities and post-emancipation support that the Triumph Awards offer help these youth to break the cycle of abuse and neglect.

"I am not going to dwell in the shadows of my fears forever. I am not going to let adversity triumph over me!"
Elizabeth, 2004 Triumph Award Winner

Blue is the international color for Child Abuse Prevention. It was chosen to represent the bruised and battered bodies of the thousands of children who are abused every day.

Before today is over, 3 children will die from being abused. At least one of them will be a baby--less than a year old. The other two probably haven't yet celebrated their fifth birthdays. In total, over 2,700 children will be physically and sexually abused today.

Tomorrow it starts all over again.

Child abuse is an American epidemic and Colorado is the third worst state in the nation for child abuse deaths. Studies show that children who grow up in abusive homes are more likely to abuse their own children. And those removed from their abusers and raised in the system are emancipated at age 18 to face the world on their own with little if any positive support--far too often falling back into abusive situations and perpetuating the cycle of violence.

If we intend to break this cycle of abuse we must help empower victims to become victors and come together as a community to provide acknowledgement, opportunity and support to those who have triumphed over their childhood abuse.

The Realities For Children Triumph Awards help to not only change the lives of children who have suffered abuse, but also help to assure that other children may never have to.

Be a part of creating a timeless legacy of compassion, service and Triumph. Donate to the Triumph Awards Endowment and awaken those around you by wearing the Triumph Bracelet, because no child should be forgotten.
